Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer is also an outstanding actor. As an intelligent and attractive actress, she serves as a role model for numerous Asian actors working in Hollywood that want to be successful. Following a string of appearances in popular TV series, she became famous for her role on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The actress translated her sudden success into big screen roles in movies including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her next performance was a dazzling performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In this period she also acted as the lead in a few flops in the field including Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen parts, did not achieve any success. The role she played in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully to prevent being stereotyped in an industry which is extremely competitive. Liu has acknowledged her Chinese heritage, but she doesn't allow it to limit her artistically.
