Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English and one-half Spanish. Her parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one in each parent's previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six after which the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. After she turned 16, she quit school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
